Weekly Spaceflight Update: July 27- August 3rd

It was a somewhat quiet week around the world with just 4 launches occurring. Read about it below:

Tianlian-3-01 – CASC

On July 29th at 7:50 p.m. CST, CASC launched a Long March 7A rocket from LC-201 at the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China, carrying a geostationary-orbit relay satellite.

TJSW-27A & B – CASC

On July 30th at 9:00 a.m. CST, CASC launched two classified communication satellites to orbit on a Long March 6A rocket from LC-9A at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China.

NROL-95 – SpaceX

On July 30th at 3:10 a.m. EDT, SpaceX launched a classified satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. First-stage booster B1096 made its 7th flight and landed at LZ-2 back at the Cape.

Starlink Group 17-52

On July 31st at 8:08 p.m. PDT, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 24 Starlink satellites to orbit from SLC-4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The first-stage booster (B1081) supporting this mission made its 26th flight and landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship in the Pacific Ocean.
