NASA Announces MAX POWER Aerospace Expo and Airshow at Kennedy Space Center
Earlier today, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, along with NASA leadership, announced MAX POWER: a two-day aerospace expo and airshow to be held at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on November 7-8.
The event will feature aerial performances by a wide range of aircraft, including NASA planes, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, and aircraft from multiple branches of the Department of War. Isaacman confirmed he will personally fly in the show, adding that the November dates were chosen to line up with the next wet dress rehearsal rollout for Artemis III, already being assembled inside the Vehicle Assembly Building. It will also include interactive exhibits showcasing American innovation and the future technologies currently under development. This event will also offer opportunities to meet Apollo and Artemis astronauts and hear from NASA experts.
MAX POWER is being organized in collaboration with Air Dot Show, UP.Summit, and Delaware North (along with Space Florida and Purpose Entertainment). The event is divided into three distinct “parks,” each requiring its own ticket. This setup lets visitors choose exactly the experiences they want.
Airshow Park (presented by Air Dot Show) takes place at the historic Shuttle Landing Facility and will feature the full airshow with military and NASA aircraft, including the Thunderbirds.
Tech Expo (presented by UP.Summit) will showcase futuristic aircraft, drones, autonomous vehicles, experimental systems, and other next-generation mobility and space technologies.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (operated by Delaware North) gives guests all-access to the complex’s exhibits and attractions, plus behind-the-gates tours of NASA facilities. Visitors will be able to explore America’s busiest spaceport, learn about its historic and current operations, and may even experience a rocket launch up close.
MAX POWER is being held in honor of America’s 250th anniversary and celebrates the nation’s past achievements while looking ahead to the future of air and space exploration.
