SpaceX Launches Starlink Mission, Landing in Bahamas for 2nd Time
On February 19th, 2026, SpaceX launched the Starlink 10-38 mission at 8:41:40PM EST from SLC-40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. Falcon 9 Booster B1077 performed flawlessly on its 26th flight, landing downrange on the autonomous drone ship “Just Read the Instructions” off the coast of the Bahamas. This was the 150th landing on that vessel and the 573rd booster landing to date for SpaceX. This mission also marked the 2nd ever landing for SpaceX off the coast of the Bahamas, not counting the two Starships that broke up close to the island nation in 2025.
The 2 explosive events of Starship Test Flights 7 & 8 prompted the Bahamian Government to place a hold on all SpaceX activities within that region until investigations were conducted regarding the incidents. SpaceX and the Bohemian Government recently came to a resolution and have concluded their investigations and have since allowed SpaceX activities to proceed once again including Falcon 9 booster landings. Several members from the Launch Heaven Team were there to capture the Starlink 10-38 mission at liftoff as it flew southeast towards the Bahamian Islands.
